No where fast...

No where fast...just like this sidewalk. At least that's how it seems lately! After nearly 8 weeks off work...I haven't even had an interview. I have applied for 25 jobs. I know that there are a lot of folks that have been out of work longer than I have...but knowing that doesn't really help much. And to top it off...our health insurance runs out at the end of this month...in order to remain covered...somewhat...we will start paying $600.00 per month (out of an already stretched budget). Dangling my feet off a dime today.

Embrace change...

Random thoughts from a random mind. I recently lost my job in a "downsizing" move. My position was eliminated along with my pay check and health insurance. Sometimes life sucks...this has been one of those times. However, I have been told to "embrace change"...and while I know that embracing one's situation...no matter what it may be...is ultimately the best way to cope with it..."it ain't easy McGee"!

That being said...I need a place to rant...vent...and babble. This is it! :)
